I have designed and run training courses for social work supervision in the UK, Russia, Ukraine and Georgia. I have offered supervision in a number of contexts and take part in both individual and group supervision in my practice. I know that supervision is critical to good practice and that professionals need support in both offering and using supervision. In the UK there is a well-established structure for line management supervision in social work and individual and group supervision in psychotherapy and counselling. In Central and Eastern Europe supervision is almost always external to the organisation and usually offered by individual practitioners.
Action learning sets and learning circles are models that I value very highly. They can be especially effective for people in small organisations for whom peer supervision is not an option and individual external supervision a luxury.
I have recenlty completed a Certificate in Relational Supervision and am happy to offer individual supervision, action learning set facilitation and training in supervision.
